November 1, Fineko/abc.az. The law on regulating the turnover of digital currency, according to which the government of the Russian Federation, among other things, receives the right to regulate the activities of operators providing infrastructure for mining, entered into force on November 1.

ABC.AZ reports that in particular, the law gave the government the right to prohibit the mining of digital currency in specific regions or in their individual territories, as well as to determine the procedure and cases for introduction of such restrictions. Participation in the mining pool, a special server that is used to distribute the load of mining digital currency, may also be banned.

The government will also regulate the activities of operators providing infrastructure for mining.
