November 1, Fineko/abc.az. Indonesia bans sale of smartphones manufactured by Google.

ABC.AZ informs that according to the Ministry of Industry, the smertphones will not be sold until they begin to comply with legal requirements.

Under Indonesian law, smartphones sold in the country must consist of 40% local components. Google must comply with the requirement and obtain permission before resuming trading.

The decision was made a few days after blocking the sales of iPhone 16 from technology giant Apple for the same reason.
