 November 5, Fineko/abc.az. Over Jan-Sept 2024, BP and its partners spent $800,000 on BP-operated social investment projects in Azerbaijan.

ABC.AZ informs that this is stated in the information distributed by BP-Azerbaijan together with business partners for the first 3 quarters of this year. The indicator is 2-fold less versus Jan-Sept 2023.

These projects included 23 educational programs that are currently ongoing, 3 projects supporting the creation of local skills and entrepreneurship development, and 1 environmental initiative.

In addition, BP, as a separate company, spent about $1 million on its own behalf on projects sponsored by it in Azerbaijan ($200,000, or 25% more against Jan-Sept 2023).

These include 20 educational initiatives that are currently ongoing, 1 project supporting the creation of local skills and entrepreneurship development, 4 environmental initiatives, 1 project promoting the country's rich cultural heritage and sports, and support for 6 conferences and seminars on various topics, that is, a total of 32 projects.
