November 26, Fineko/abc.az. Compared with the same months of 2023, for Jan-Oct 2024, five out of 17 insurance companies of Azerbaijan reported the decline on premiums ans 12 ones - growth of premiums.

The largest drop on premiums (decline of 66% versus Jan-Oct 2023) was recorded on Ipək Yolu Sığorta, ABC.AZ reports with reference to the Central Bank.

The recovery procedure at Bakısığorta, whose license is in the process of liquidation, is not encouraging either. Company's premiums have fallen by 65% in 10 months.

The financial situation of Aqrar Sığorta, whose premiums have declined by 16%, is also not evaluated positively.Qala Sığorta's premiums also lowered.

For the past 10 months, the company was able to gather 5% less against Jan-Oct 2023.
