Azerbaijan’s insurer has paid a record payout for insured event

November 26, Fineko/abc.az. The Azerbaijani insurance company has made a record payment for an insured event related to cargo transportation.

ABC.AZ informs that the insurance incident occurred in Istanbul (Turkey).

In the Bosphorus Strait, cargo ships EYED 1 (80 m long) and BUNUN ACE (180 m long) collided, which led to damage to the insured cargo on one of the ships.

The payment, amounting close to $900,000, was made within 15 days and did not affect the financial stability of the insurance company.
