November 28, Fineko/abc.az. The Azerbaijani government has planned to invest 28.9 billion manats ($17 billion) in the reconstruction of Karabakh in 2022-2026, ABC.AZ informs, referring to the country report of Fitch Solutions.

Most of these finances will be spent on infrastructure development, including renewable energy infrastructure. This will help Azerbaijan increase electricity exports to Turkey and Georgia.

"Investments in Karabakh will remain at a high level until 2025. This strategy is an important component of government's decarbonization and diversification plans. Increasing non-oil exports is also part of this strategy, which includes the export of "green" electricity," the report says.
