December 2, Fineko/abc.az. In the next academic year, new specialties will be created at the Karabakh University, mainly at the existing faculties. In addition, it is planned to open the Faculty of Medicine and the Faculty of Natural Sciences.

ABC.AZ reports that Minister of Science & Education Emin Amrullayev made this statement to journalists.

The minister noted that it is planned to admit up to 1,500 students to the Karabakh University next academic year.

Amrullayev added that preliminary work is underway on the construction of two new university buildings, and from next year students from Turkic-speaking states and member countries of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation are to study at Karabakh University.
