December 2, Fineko/abc.az. Elon Musk has called on the federal court to stop OpenAI's transformation into a fully commercial business.

ABC.AZ reports that this is stated in the statement submitted by the lawyers.

The document also asks to prevent Sam Altman's AI startup from requiring its investors to refrain from investing in competitors like xAI.

In the motion, Musk's lawyers consider it necessary to prohibit OpenAI from "profiting from improperly obtained confidential competitive information or coordination through the interdependence of the Microsoft board of directors and OpenAI".

The lawsuit alleges that Microsoft and OpenAI "seek to consolidate dominance by blocking competitors' access to investment capital". The conditions that "the AI startup forced investors to accept are tantamount to a group boycott".

In October, OpenAI raised $6.6 billion at valuation of $157 billion. During negotiations with investors, the ChatGPT developer discouraged them from supporting competing firms like Anthropic or xAI.
