December 3, Fineko/abc.az. In continuation of the ongoing reforms in the field of digital transformation, it is necessary to review and improve the procedure for opening remote banking accounts in accordance with the requirements of the day.

ABC.AZ informs that Association of Banks of Azerbaijan’s chairman Zakir Nuriyev said this at the VIII International Banking Forum in Baku.

He added that the existing processes should be simplified by further deepening the step-by-step approach to the application of identification requirements when opening bank accounts, which play a key role in development of financial inclusion.
