December 3, Fineko/abc.az. TotalEnergies (France) is close to acquiring vertically integrated renewable energy development company VSB Group from private equity firm Partners Group, ABC.AZ reports, referring to Bloomberg.

The price of the deal could be approx. $2.1 bn.

VSB, based in Germany, implements renewable energy projects with total capacity of more than 10 gigawatts (GW) in 10 countries, mainly in Europe, and provides services for approx. 1.4 GW of installed capacity.

TotalEnergies overall installed renewable energy capacity is currently 24 GW, and the company plans to increase it by 11 GW next year and reach 100 GW by 2030.
