December 6, Fineko/abc.az. In Azerbaijan, micro, small and medium-sized businesses (SMEs) made a total profit of 5.488 billion manats in 2023.

ABC.AZ reports that the figure is 12% more versus 2022 - 4.918 billion manats.

Gross profit is the difference between company's revenue from the sale of a product or service and its cost.

The total profit of micro-businesses from business entities amounted to 283.85 million manats, small businesses - 1.295 billion manats, medium-sized businesses - 3.908 billion manats.

The profitability level of small and medium-sized businesses in 2022 was 23.9%, and in 2023 this figure increased to 24.8%.
