December 9, Fineko/abc.az. To date, about 40 vehicles have been disposed of in the country. Tamiz Shahar OJSC informs that more than 10 applicants received lump-sum payments based on supporting documents. The recycling process began in November of this year.

ABC.AZ informs that transport expert Elmaddin Muradli made the relevant statement. He noted that recycling is a process that the state establishes by appropriate law:

"Handing over of 40 motor vehicles for recycling does not change anything. Everyone needs to take this process seriously, especially those with old cars. Some citizens are unhappy that the amount given is too small, below the cost of the car. But the state has provided an opportunity so that they can sell usable car spare parts at retail outlets or remove their main elements. The main thing is that they bring the documents and the car body and hand them over. Thus, it will be possible to compensate a certain amount."

The expert noted, however, that there are such vehicles that are not suitable for operation:

"Vehicles in poor condition, without headlights, it is wrong to use and not agree to 1,500-3,000 manats. However, such cars are a kind of earnings, the last hope of some people. Some transport iron in an old car, etc. But one must think that an unusable vehicle may one day cost a human life. Therefore, the state has banned their use for security reasons. If we investigate, today there are more than 100,000 cars in the country that may have to be scrapped."
