December 10, Fineko/abc.az. The concept of a "bio-active food additive" is being replaced by a "bio-active food product", and fines for their entry into medical prescriptions are increased.

ABC.AZ reports that this is reflected in the proposed amendment to the Code of Administrative Offences, which was discussed at today's meeting of the Milli Majlis.

Under valid law, officials are fined from 50 to 100 manats for writing in medical prescriptions of bio-active food additives, and legal entities are fined from 150 to 200 manats.

According to the draft, officials will be fined from 100 to 150 manats for writing in recipes of biologically active food products, and legal entities – from 300 to 400 manats.

The bill was put to the vote and adopted in the first reading.
