CBA spokesperson: Balance of recurring income regularly has surplus

December 11, Fineko/abc.az. The recurring income balance regularly has surplus. The working capital surplus in the third quarter of this year amounted to $491 million.

ABC.AZ informs that Samir Nasirov, the director of the Statistics Department of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan, said this at a briefing.

He added that in the 3rd quarter of 2024, the money transfers received in the country totaled $848.5 million.

Top 5 of countries with money transfers to Azerbaijan include Russia ($411 million), Turkey ($130 million), the U.S. ($48 million), Georgia ($27 million) and the UAE ($26 million).

Nasirov also noted that during this period, money transfers from Azerbaijan abroad reached $408 million. $118 million was sent to Turkey, the USA - $45 million, Russia - $41 million, Georgia - $36 million.
