December 11, Fineko/abc.az. The consumer price index for food, beverages and tobacco products in November 2024 made up 101.4% compared with the previous month, and for Jan-Nov 2024 - 101.0% versus the 2023 same term. 

ABC.AZ informs with reference to the State Statistics Committee that this November, an increase in food prices against the previous month was more observed on prices for long-grain rice, oatmeal, beef, canned fish, katyk, cheese, cottage cheese, eggs, table margarine, butter, sunflower and corn oils, bananas, grapes, walnuts hazelnuts, chestnuts, cabbage, greens, tomatoes, cucumbers, sweet peppers, eggplants, garlic, onions, potatoes, black and green tea. A decrease in prices was recorded for fresh fish, lemons, oranges, tangerines, apples, quinces, pomegranates, persimmons, kiwis, table beets, carrots. There have been no significant changes in the prices of other food products. The CPI for non-food products in November 2024 made up 100.2% versus the previous month, and for Jan-Nov 2024 - 101.5% against the 2023 same term. In November, compared with the previous month, a rise in prices for non-food products was registered on clothing, building materials, furniture, jewelry, and a decrease on prices of mobile phones, laptops and household appliances.

There were no significant changes in prices for other non-food products. The CPI for paid services rendered to the population in November 2024 made up 100.2% versus the previous month, and for Jan-Nov 2024 - 103.8% against the 2023 relevant period.

In November, compared with the previous month, an increase in prices for paid services to the population was mainly observed on prices for medical lab services, dental, hairdressing and cosmetology services, passenger transportation services by air to other countries except the CIS countries, and a decrease in passenger transportation services by air to the CIS countries. There have been no significant changes in prices for other paid services.
