ABC.AZ informs that the Swiss manufacturer of IQAir air purification systems has recognized Tehran as the most polluted city in the world.

Iran leads the anti-rating with pollution index of 207.

The right to clean air, which is a basic civil right, is systematically violated in Iran, especially in megacities.

According to statistics, about 50,000 Iranians die every year from diseases related to air pollution.

Despite this, the country's authorities are not taking sufficient measures to solve the problem.
