December 13, Fineko/abc.az. In Azerbaijan, it is proposed to lower the upper limit of the military age from 35 to 30 years.

ABC.AZ reports that this is reflected in the draft amendments to the Law on Military Duty & Military Service.

Under valid law, conscripts are male citizens of Azerbaijan between the ages of 18 and 35 years old.

According to the changes, conscripts will be Azerbaijan’s male citizens aged 18 to 30 years old, placed on preliminary military registration and who have not completed active military service.
