December 13, Fineko/abc.az. The deadline for the refund of already paid or incorrectly accrued state duty is shortened.

ABC.AZ reports that this was reflected in the proposed amendment to the Law on State Duty, discussed at the Milli Majlis meeting.

According to the draft, the refund period for incorrectly accrued or overpaid state duty will be reduced from 20 to 10 days.

Although the withholding of state duty is carried out in a short time, the law sets the deadline for the return of improperly withheld or overpaid state duty at 20 days. Since creation of this system makes it possible to promptly review applications for the refund of already paid or incorrectly accrued state duties, in order to ensure the satisfaction of citizens, it is proposed to reduce the period for the refund of duties to 10 days. The bill was put to the vote and adopted in the 1st reading.
