ABC.AZ reports, speaking at ceremony «digital.azerbaijan: Achievements & IDDA Awards 2024, Inara Veliyeva, the chairperson of the Agency for Innovation & Digital Development said.

She added that the goal is to make Azerbaijan a competitive and leading country in the region:

"Our goal remains unchanged. One of the main goals is to make the lives of citizens and businesses comfortable, to bring them to certain goals without queues, without spending too much free time. Discussions are currently underway about digitalization in the direction of making people's lives easier. In fact, documents are digitized, and you no longer need to carry paper documents with you. Here we are talking about a digital identity card and several other documents. Obtaining a child's birth certificate, death certificate, marriage application, marriage certificate application and many other services are fully digitized from start to finish."
