December 26, Fineko/abc.az. The Center for Analytical Expertise of the Ministry of Health of Azerbaijan has decided to recall one batch of Irish-made drug Rowatinex.

ABC.AZ informs that speech is about series 8481C in capsules # 50 with expiration date of up to 12/2025.

The reason for the recall was the results of stabilization studies conducted by the manufacturer Rowa Pharmaceuticals Ltd. After 36 months of storage in special conditions, an increased content of peroxides in olive oil, used as an auxiliary substance, was found in the composition of the drug. This led to the appearance of a distinctive odor.

Only Rowatinex packages with the specified serial number and expiration date located in pharmacies and medical institutions are subject to withdrawal from circulation.
