January 10, Fineko/abc.az. Earlier, the President of Azerbaijan issued a decree approving the Regulation on information system National Spatial Data & resolving some issues relating to it.

ABC.AZ informs that the owner and operator of the National Spatial Data is the Ministry of Economy of Azerbaijan.

This is stated in the Regulation published on the Presidential Administration’s website.

According to the document, in order to organize the functioning of the system, the relevant intradepartmental telecommunications devices and channels will be organized by the structural divisions of the Ministry, and telecommunications devices and channels used to organize the interaction of the system with other state information resources and systems will be organized by the special state communications & information security service.
