National Bank of Georgia's international reserves reduced

January 10, Fineko/abc.az. The international reserves of the National Bank of Georgia amounted to $4.45 billion as of December 31, 2024, ABC.AZ reports, referring to the national regulator of Georgia.

Last November, foreign exchange reserves grew by $323.6 million. According to analysts, the change in reserves related to operations of the government and the NNB in the foreign exchange market. As a whole, for Jan-Dec 2024, NBG’s international reserves lowered by GEL 562.1 million.

NBG’s international reserves reached a historic high of $5.436 billion on August 31, 2023. International reserves increased by $101.5 million in 2023 and by $628.1 million in 2022.
