January 14, Fineko/abc.az. Armenia must resolve its issues directly with neighboring countries, ABC.AZ informs, quoting Russian FM Sergei Lavrov.

"When countries far from our territories, traditions, and understanding of history in its non-colonial dimension declare that the EU mission [in Armenia] will provide 'security,' I don't really understand this. Therefore, we actively supported the initiative of President [Azerbaijani President Ilham] Aliyev to create the 3+3 mechanism," Lavrov said.

He noted that the signing and approval of a peace treaty between Azerbaijan and Armenia is a sovereign decision of the two countries.
