UK and Saudi Arabia to sign agreement on supply of critical minerals

January 15, Fineko/abc.az. The UK and Saudi Arabia will sign a partnership agreement this week to develop reliable supply chains for critical minerals.

ABC.AZ informs that similar agreements have already been signed with a number of countries, including South Africa, Canada, Australia, Kazakhstan, Mongolia, Zambia, Japan and Indonesia.

Saudi Arabia designates mining as one of the three pillars of national development. The Saudi Arabian Ministry of Industry & Mineral Resources confirms its commitment to development of copper, gold, rare earth metals, potassium and bauxite reserves in the country.
