January 21, Fineko/abc.az. Instagram has announced video editing application Edits to become an alternative to China’s CapCut.

ABC.AZ informs that the launch is scheduled for February, and the automatic subtitles, filters, and analytics features will be free. Edits is a video editing application that resembles CapCut in many ways.

According to Instagram CEO Adam Mosseri, Edits is "more than a video editing app". In particular, the service will have various creative tools, including a section for finding inspiration, a camera function, and the ability to share drafts with other users.

Edits will be available to download for free on March 13. The app page has already appeared in the App Store, and it will also be available on Google Play soon. The service is currently being tested among several content authors, Mosseri said.

"There will be a special tab for inspiration, another for tracking your early ideas, a much higher-quality camera that I used to record this video, all the editing tools you expect, the ability to share drafts with friends and other creators, and if you decide to share your videos on Instagram, powerful analytics about how how these videos are being sold," Mosseri said.
