January 22, Fineko/abc.az. The number of unique depositors in the banking sector of Azerbaijan reached 106,700.

ABC.AZ reports that Central Bank of Azerbaijan’s chairman Taleh Kazimov made this statement at a press conference on the parameters of the interest rate corridor.

He noted that during 2024, the number of unique depositors in the banking sector of Azerbaijan increased more than by 40%.

"During the year, 43,600 additional unique depositors were registered. Of them, 77.7% are depositors with a deposit amount of up to 30,000," Kazimov added.
