Trump: We want to ensure that Iran's oil exports are zero

February 5, Fineko/abc.az. U.S. President Donald Trump has said he intends to stop Iranian oil exports as part of policy of maximum pressure on Tehran.

ABC.AZ informs that at a press conference with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in Washington, Trump stressed that he wants to ensure "that Iranian oil exports are zero". He also promised to impose tough sanctions against Tehran.

Earlier, before the talks with Netanyahu, the U.S. president, responding to a question from reporters whether he could take action to restrict access to Iranian oil at the world market, Trump replied: "We have the right to do this."
