February 5, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijan is likely to abolish paper prescriptions, ABC.AZ reports, quoting Sevinj Maharramova, a specialist at the Center for Digital Health.

She noted that after the introduction of e-prescriptions in all medical institutions of the country, the use of paper prescriptions will be completely eliminated.

"Anyone can request an e-prescription from a doctor in a private and public medical institution across the country. The biggest advantage of electronic prescriptions is that the calendar system notifies the patient about the time of taking and dosage of the medicine," Maharramova underlined.
