February 7, Fineko/abc.az. $480 million will be allocated for introduction of a smart gas network management system in Azerbaijan.

ABC.AZ informs, quoting Elchin Agakishiyev, advisor to the president of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR).

"At COP29, an agreement was reached between SOCAR and IntelliGrid on the introduction of an advanced smart gas grid management system in the Azerigaz service area. As part of the $480 million project, it is planned to use artificial intelligence (AI) to reduce gas leakage," he said.
