February 12, Fineko/abc.az. In 2024, Azerbaijan exported 1.5 million tons of oil to Portugal.

ABC.AZ was informed at the State Customs Committee that the cost of oil exported to Portugal was about $631.2 million.

During the year, exports grew by 553,300 tons (2.2-fold), and its value increased by $331.6 million (2.1-fold).

In 2023, Azerbaijan exported 449,900 tons of oil for $299.6 million to Portugal.

The average cost of 1 ton of oil exported to Portugal last year was 1,067 manats (65 manats, or 5.7% less than in 2023). Portugal ranked 7th in the list of crude oil exporting countries in 2024 and 14th in 2023.
