February 17, Fineko/abc.az. OPEC+ countries are considering a decision to postpone the increase in oil production from April, despite calls from U.S. President Donald Trump to increase production.
ABC.AZ reports that global markets remain too fragile to resume production increases.
According to the agency, no decision has been made yet, and the group has different opinions on how to proceed - it may be made in the coming weeks.
Since the beginning of 2024, only eight OPEC+ countries have adhered to oil production limits of 2.2 million b/d: Russia, Saudi Arabia, Algeria, Iraq, Kazakhstan, Kuwait, the UAE and Oman.
