Oil is getting more expensive, Brent - $75.41 per barrel

February 18, Fineko/abc.az. Oil prices of benchmark grades are rising in Tuesday's trading.

The price of Brent crude oil futures for April on the ICE Futures exchange grew by $0.19 (0.25%) to $75.41 per barrel by 09:31. Following the trading on February 17, April’s Brent crude futures rose by $0.48 (0.64%) to $75.22 per barrel.

The price of March’s WTI crude oil futures at the NYMEX commodity exchange increased by $0.74 (1.05%) to $71.48 per barrel by 09:31. Following the trading on February 17, WTI crude futures for March grew in price by $0.59 (0.83%), up to $71.33 per barrel.

OPEC+ countries are considering a decision to postpone the increase in oil production from April, despite calls from the US president to increase production. No decision has been made yet, and OPEC+ has differing opinions on how to proceed, and it may be made in the coming weeks.
