February 18, Fineko/abc.az. In January 2025, Azerbaijan carried out the largest export in the last six months, exporting 3,460,826.94 tons or about 26 million barrels of crude oil. The cost of crude oil sold abroad was $1.9 billion.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the State Customs Committee that the last time the volume of crude oil exports exceeded 3 million tons per month was in June 2024.

The volume of exports grew by 70% against monthly dynamics and more than doubled versus January 2024.

Italy took the 1st place in Azerbaijan's overall oil exports. Over January 2025, our country sold 1,687,729.6 tons of crude oil for $932,715,480 to Italy.

Germany is in 2nd place. This January, Azerbaijan exported 409,959.01 tons of oil for $223,278,370 to this country.

The Czech Republic ranks 3rd in the list of Azerbaijani oil exports. In January 2025, our country exported 364,669.21 tons of oil for $202,264,300 to this country.
