"Shah Deniz contract field, with an area of about 860 sq m, is located 70 km southeast of Baku, at depth of 85 m above sea level. The development of the contract field has so far been carried out within Shah Deniz Phase 1 and Shah Deniz Phase 2 projects. Work on Shah Deniz Compression Project will be conducted on the existing infrastructure of platforms Shah Deniz Alpha and Shah Deniz Bravo, as well as the Sangachal terminal. The project envisages production of the first gas from Shah Deniz Alfa platform in mid-2029 and from Shah Deniz Bravo platform in mid-2030. It is expected that most of the onshore construction and commissioning activities at the construction sites will be carried out in the period from 2026 to 2028," Akhundov emphasized.
