February 18, Fineko/abc.az. This January, our country exported 2,278 tons of pomegranate for $2,015.

ABC.AZ reports, citing the State Customs Committee, that compared with January 2024, pomegranate exports grew by $525,900 (35%) in value terms and by 569 tons (33%) in quantitative terms.

Azerbaijan exported 1,709 tons of pomegranates for $1,489 for January 2024.

In January 2025, the share of pomegranate exports in Azerbaijan's overall exports was 0.07%, and in non–oil exports - 0.82%.

The average export price of 1 kg of pomegranate for January 2025 was 1.50 manats (0.02 manats, or 1.3% more than a year earlier). In January 2024, the average export price of 1 kg of pomegranate was 1.48 manats.
