February 21, Fineko/abc.az. In many countries, artificial intelligence is used to administer justice, ABC.AZ reports, quoting Constitutional Court’s chairman Farhad Abdullayev.

According to Abdullayev, it is possible that in the future AI will be used in the work of the court: "It will probably be in the form of a question, but the answer may simply be in the form of a conclusion. Artificial intelligence will penetrate into all spheres of life. But there is a real person behind all the decisions. Feelings, human qualities, and conscience play a major role here. There is a person behind this responsibility. Sofia won't be able to do that."

Gunduz Kerimov, the head of the Legislative & Legal Policy Department of the Presidential Administration, noted that the Concept of Artificial Intelligence Development in Azerbaijan is expected to be approved.

Milli Majlis deputy chairman Ziyafat Asgarov stressed that AI and cybercrime are factors threatening sovereignty:

"It is also planned to develop a bill on AI. In this regard, we need personnel who are well versed in the field of ICT and the legal aspect of the issue."
