March 3, Fineko/abc.az. The fortune of Russia's richest businessmen has increased by $7.764 billion since the beginning of 2025.

ABC.AZ informs that this follows from the Bloomberg Billionaires Index published by Bloomberg, which, in particular, is calculated on the basis of the value of companies' shares.

According to the Bloomberg Billionaires Index, since early 2025, Alisher Usmanov, a shareholder of Metalloinvest, Russia's largest iron ore producer, has earned $3.1 bn, his fortune amounted to $16.3 bn, and the fortune of Norilsk Nickel president Vladimir Potanin increased by $1.77 bn, up to $29.6 bn.

Businessman Mikhail Fridman suffered the greatest losses - his fortune decreased by $2.26 bn, to $12.5 bn.

Since March 2012, the agency has been publishing the Bloomberg Billionaires Index, which includes information about the wealth of the 500 richest people on the planet.
