Microsoft announces Medical AI assistant

March 4, Fineko/abc.az. Microsoft announced a new AI assistant for the healthcare sector called Dragon Copilot, which, according to the company, will help doctors devote more time to patients by reducing the amount of routine administrative work.

ABC.AZ reports with a link to 3dnews.ru that AI assistant Dragon Copilotwas created based on existing solutions - speech recognition application Dragon Medical One and a solution for documenting a doctor's conversation with a patient at a DAX Copilot appointment, by combining their capabilities.

According to the company, Dragon Copilot will help doctors quickly extract information from medical sources and automatically compile clinical notes, medication recommendations, summaries after a patient's visit, and more.

Applications such as DAX Copilot allow doctors to keep clinical notes in real time while communicating with the patient. According to Microsoft, DAX Copilot has been used over the past month during more than 3 million patient appointments by doctors in 600 medical organizations.
