March 13, Fineko/abc.az. Telegram messenger has presented trading and income generation functions for its crypto wallet, ABC.AZ reports, referring to TechCrunch.

Telegram users will now be able to buy, sell, or store cryptocurrencies without having to make direct deposits to the blockchain. This update will simplify the storage and trading of digital assets.

The wallet product will primarily focus on cryptocurrency Toncoin (TON),  which can be used on Telegram platform.

Telegram also introduces the possibility of earning money in a wallet for storing a certain amount of TON. The messenger did not specify the percentage of profitability or how much cryptocurrency will need to be held in order to start earning.
