March 14, Fineko/abc.az. In 2024, the State Tax Service conducted 393 on-site tax audits (9.7% less versus the previous year).

ABC.AZ informs that this is stated in Cabinet Ministers' report on government activity for 2024.

In addition, the State Tax Service completed 384 on-site inspections (28.5% less year-on-year).

As a result of inspections, 530.7 million manats were additionally accrued (2% less than in 2023).

At that, 97.7% of the verified taxpayers were found to have violations of tax legislation.

Of the total amount of additional accrued funds, 363.3 million manats or 68.5% were additionally accrued taxes, and 167.4 million manats or 31.5% were financial sanctions imposed for tax underestimation and other offenses.

79% or 420.2 million manats of the additional accrued funds accounted for scheduled inspections, while 21% or 110.5 million manats accounted for unscheduled inspections. The amount of additional accrued funds per check increased by 37% compared with the previous year up to 1,382 manats.
