April 3, Fineko/abc.az. Currently, the Association of Manufacturers of Building Materials of Azerbaijan (ATMIA) is working on the process of exporting building materials to Europe.

ABC.AZ reports that Shahana Sary, Secretary General of the Association of Manufacturers of Building Materials of Azerbaijan (ATMIA), stated about this at a press conference on the occasion of ATMIA Builders' Week, dedicated to April 10 - Builder's Day.

"We are working on exporting producers to Europe through the Balkan Peninsula. The work is currently ongoing. Initially, we are at the stage of studying the standards for building materials exported to Europe. In order to export our products, we need to know what standards our materials meet. According to the preliminary price study, the European market may be beneficial for us, but due to the long distance passing through several countries, the customs costs of these countries, transportation costs and other costs are being investigated. The European market is one of our priority export markets. Serious work is underway in this direction," Sary added.
