Construction of Alat-Astara railway line to be completed by 2027

April 16, Fineko/abc.az. Construction work on the Alat-Astara railway line is to be finished by 2027.

ABC.AZ reports, quoting Tural Abbasli, adviser to the chairman of Azerbaijan Railways CJSC, head of the Construction Project Management Department, said about this at the National Business Development Forum.

He noted that work is underway on the reconstruction of Alat-Astara railway line:

"Work is ongoing on the renovation of the two-lane railway on the Alat-Osmanli section. At that, work is underway on the section from Osmanli to Astara. The total length is 243 km."
