May 7, Fineko/abc.az. Pakistan has closed the country's key airports for 48 hours against the background of the Sindoor military operation launched by India on the night of May 7 in the territory of Kashmir controlled by the Pakistani authorities.
ABC.AZ informs with reference to The Economic Times that among other air harbors, the operation of Islamabad International Airport has been suspended, as well as the airspace over the Islamic Republic has been completely closed.
Meanwhile, the Pakistani authorities are holding an emergency meeting of the National Security Committee, chaired by Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif. It is noted that Sharif condemned the strikes inflicted by India, calling them an "act of war".
