May 12, Fineko/abc.az. Japanese corporation Panasonic has decided to lay off 10,000 employees in the country and in foreign missions as part of a large-scale restructuring.

ABC.AZ reports, referring to the Japanese Public Television (NHK).

According to the TV channel, the layoffs will primarily affect sales departments and management. It is emphasized that in the future, Panasonic plans to exit the TV production business, which has become unprofitable for the company in recent years. The Japanese corporation also intends to generally reconsider its approach to the development, production and sale of household appliances.
