May 13, Fineko/abc.az. For Jan-Apr 2025, Azerbaijan extracted 16.7 bcm of natural gas, ABC.AZ informs with reference to the Ministry of Energy.

Out of the total production, 4.5 bcm came from Azeri-Chirag-Guneshli field, 9 bcm from Shah Deniz, 500 million cu m from Absheron, and nearly 2.7 bcm from SOCAR.

Over the past 4 months, 8 bcm of gas were exported. Of them, 4 bcm to Europe, 3.1 bcm to Turkey (including 1.9 bcm through TANAP), 900 million to Georgia.

Since the beginning of operation of fields Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli and Shah Deniz, as of May 1, 2025, almost 656.8 million tons of oil (including condensate) and 480 bcm of gas have been extracted. Of them, Azeri-Chirag-Guneshli produced 606.9 million tons of oil and 234.2 bcm of gas, and Shah Deniz produced close to 49.9 million tons of condensate and 245.8 bcm of gas.

By May 1, 2025, 654.9 million tons of oil and 176.5 bcm of gas were exported.
