May 15, Fineko/abc.az. From May 31, Air Astana will launch direct flights via route Atyrau-Baku-Atyrau.

ABC.AZ reports, referring to the State Tourism Agency, that flights will be operated 3 times a week.

The Azerbaijan Tourism Bureau held a presentation of a new direct flight at an event held in Atyrau.

At the presentation, Bureau’s representative provided information about the possibilities of health tourism, outdoor activities, festivals, concerts, MICE and golf tourism in the country, given the growing interest from Kazakhstan to Azerbaijan. In the first 4 months of 2025, the number of tourists from Kazakhstan to Azerbaijan increased by 18%.

Currently, direct flights to Baku are operated from the cities of Astana, Almaty and Aktau.
