May 15, Fineko/abc.az. Pakistani company Azerbaijan Rice Processing Mill LLC has been awarded the status of a resident of the Araz Valley Economic Zone Industrial Park, managed by the Economic Zones Development Agency (under the Ministry of Economy of Azerbaijan).

ABC.AZ informs, referring to the Agency, that the company is implementing a rice processing project in the park. Thus, it is planned to process the raw rice imported into the country, sort it and pack the finished products.

The industrial park covers an area of 200 hectares, more than 30% of which has already been transferred to entrepreneurs. Currently, there are two companies operating in the park.

To date, entrepreneurs have sold products and services for 1.7 million manats within the park. Construction work is also underway on more than five new facilities.
