May 19, Fineko/abc.az. Over Jan-Apr 2025, the number of Azerbaijani citizens who traveled abroad grew by 0.9% compared with Jan-Apr 2024 up to 632,700.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the State Statistics Committee that the rate of Azerbaijani citizens who left for Iran increased by 25.9% and for Georgia - by 20.4%, while the number of those who left for Turkey decreased by 6.3%, and for the Russian Federation - by 26.4%.

For Jan-Apr 2025, 36.1% of Azerbaijani citizens visited Turkey, 16.1% - the Russian Federation, 11.1% - Georgia, 11% - Iran, 25.7% - other countries. 66.9% of those who left are men, 33.1% are women.
