May 21, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijan’s overall imports for Jan-Apr 2025 totaled $8.132 billion (a rise of 48.8% against Jan-Apr 2024). An increase in imports by $2.667 billion or 48.8% versus the 2024 same term is linked with volume of non-monetary gold.

ABC.AZ informs with reference to the State Customs Committee that imports of non-monetary gold for Jan-Apr 2025 grew 8.6-fold against the 2024 same term up to $2.527 billion.

Excluding imports of non-monetary gold, imports reached $5.605 billion (a rise of 8.4%). And there was positive balance in foreign trade of $3.179 billion (6.1% more versus Jan-Apr 2024).
