May 22, Fineko/abc.az. In 2024, the volume of retail trade in Azerbaijan amounted to 14.6 million manats.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the State Statistics Committee that the largest part of the turnover accounted for the capital, Baku, with an indicator of 8.8 million manats.

Sumgayit is in 2nd place with 477,900 manats, and Ganja - 3rd place with 392,600 manats. In Absheron district, trade turnover approached 347,100 manats.
The volume exceeded 200,000 manats in two districts, and more than 100,000 manats in 17 more districts.
For example, in Lankaran district, the total retail trade amounted to 215,500 manats, in Guba – 205,300, in Shaki – 179,400, in Shamkir – 177,700, in Barda – 160,100, and in Khachmaz – 154,400 manats.
